What do I need to do in order to get paid?
 
Before you start work you need to inform us of how we will pay you – eg PAYE (pay as you earn) Through an Umbrella Company or through your own LTD Company – For details on these services please contact your individual Consultant.
On the first Friday of the first week you have worked you will need to complete a YourWorld timesheet. You must ensure you and your manager sign this before faxing it to us on 0207 426 6990
 
How often do I get paid?
 
As long as we receive your signed timesheet before Monday at 5pm you will be paid on the following Friday of your first week worked. (A week in hand)
 
What happens if I miss the cut off time for payroll?
 
Any timesheets that we receive after Monday at 5pm will be processed in the following weeks payroll.  Therefore it is very important that you fax your timesheet as soon as you can.
 
What documents do I need to register with YourWorld Recruitment? 
 
Qualification Requirements
UK Locums: BTEC/HTEC - MPPM, HNC, BSc, BSE accreditation, MSc, ACST, ALS, ILS,BLS. (equivalent qualifications/experience will be considered)
Overseas Locums: Human Movement Science in Biokinetices, Sport Science or equivalent.
Required Candidate Documentation

  • Copy of Passport (we are required to view the original, or a verified copy for the CRB)
  • Proof of eligibility to work in UK (if not UK or EU passport holder)
  • Two Professional References (must be from your most recent employers and within last two years)
  • Copies of two bills (for proof of address in the UK)
  • Completed and signed Your World Recruitment Registration Form/ Terms and Conditions
  • Up to date CV
  • Two Passport Photos
  • Proof of Professional Body Registration (in UK)
  • Qualifications (copies of all relevant certificates)
  • CRB Check (If UK citizen, or if you have been in UK for 6 months or more)
  • Police report from Country of Origin (must be within 3 months of arriving in UK)
  • Proof of immunity for Hep B (laboratory report (blood test) of Titre level)
  • Proof of immunity for Rubella (laboratory report (blood test) of positive immunity)
  • Proof of Tuberculosis immunity (written proof that BCG scar been sighted by OH Nurse/Doctor)
  • Proof of immunity for Varicella (self Declaration of having had Chicken Pox or Shingles)
  • For Workers performing EPPs (Exposure Prone Procedures) the following tests are required and negative results must be received:
    • Hepatitis C and HIV


If you do not wish to be tested for these, we require you to complete a disclosure which you will find in our occupational health form.
 
Do I need to send original documents to confirm my Identity?
 
We do require original documents in order to confirm your Identity – This is due to the requirements from the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) in order for us to gain a Police Check on you. Please send any original documents by special delivery to avoid being lost in the UK postal system and we will return them to you in the same way.
 
If I don’t have access to my vaccination records where can I get confirmation of immunity?
 
If you are registered with a GP you can contact your local surgery to confirm immunity via a blood test. Alternative methods are to go to an Occupational Health Department in your local Hospital where they will be able to check your blood for immunity. If you require vaccinations as have not been immunised you can contact either your GP or Occupational Health department. In some circumstances you will have to go to a private hospital in order to do this – subject to your. We have an agreement with The Doctors Laboratory (TDL) in London and can arrange all immunisations at a discounted rate for you. For details please contact your Consultant or Technical Consultant.
 
What do if I don’t have a National Insurance Number?
 
You will automatically be issued with a temporary National Insurance Number on receipt of your first week’s timesheet.  You can use this number for up to 6 months. We have an agreement with the National Insurance Bureau therefore to avoid you having to go for an interview in order to gain your permanent National Insurance Number; all you need to do is contact your Consultant who will send off for an application form. You will need to return this to us within 2 weeks with a certified copy of your passport and visa.
 
If I don’t have a UK Bank Account how do I go about getting one?
 
As soon as you have been granted a Visa (if required) we can organise a bank account for you.  You will need to either come into the office to provide a copy of your passport and visa or scan and email us a certified copy. You will be required to fill in a bank account application form which we will provide and will then send all details to the relevant bank who will issue you with bank account details within 24 hours.  
 
How do I apply for a car from YourWorld’s Fleet?
 
If you are currently working for YourWorld Recruitment we will do our best to supply you will one of the fleet cars. Your World supplies company cars as an incentive to our locums for their good work and loyalty and as you can imagine these are in very high demand. Please contact your consultant as soon as possible if you require a car.
 
How can I get registered with a professional governing body?
 
If you are a Biomedical Scientist, Dietician, Radiographer or Speech & Language Therapist you can apply for registration via www.hpc-uk.org
If you are a Pharmacist all details regarding registering with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSG) can be found at: http://www.rpsgb.org.uk/

What is expected of me when working for YourWorld Recruitment?
